We reviewed Bravely Default II around the time of its original Nintendo Switch release. Despite the game feeling overly-familiar to the many JRPGs before it, this is still a worthy addition to any JRPG enthusiast’s collection. If you don’t own a Nintendo Switch, and you’ve had your eye on the Bravely series, this is a fine place to start. Even though the II in the title suggests a sequel, it is a very loose sequel, featuring a brand new cast of characters and a new story. Newcomers can jump right into the game without feeling lost. You can find Bravely Default II on the Steam store for 10% off ($53.99 USD) until September 13. After the sale ends, the game will be back to full retail price at $59.99 USD.
Bravely Default II is available for the Nintendo Switch, and soon to be on Steam.
