While Patch 1.1 for Cyberpunk 2077 was supposed to be the first in a series of promised updates to address the long list of issues plaguing the game, it, unfortunately, introduced yet another bug to the game. The problem affected the Down on the Street quest and was preventing some players from progressing in the game.

Though CD Projekt Red had detailed a workaround soon after the bug was discovered, it only worked if you had an old save to revert to, which of course, wasn’t a guarantee for all gamers. Thankfully, a new hotfix, Patch 1.11, fixes the issue entirely. The patch also reverts item randomization to its previous state.

The patch is now available on PC, Stadia, Xbox One, and PS4.

After apologizing for the sorry state of the game on last-gen consoles, CDPR has been hard at work fixing the myriad issues players have encountered across platforms. The focus on housekeeping issues has inevitably affected the game’s roadmap for the rest of the year. After a second major patch set for release next month, CDPR plans to release some free DLC for the game later in the year. Next-gen upgrades for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles should follow soon after in the second half of 2021.
