The month of September brings new free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers. Two of the titles are available for PlayStation 4 users, while one is exclusive to the PlayStation 5. All three titles will be up for grabs stating today, Tuesday, September 7, until Monday, October 4, 2021. August’s PlayStation Plus games, Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville, Tennis World 2, and Hunter’s Arena: Legends, are no longer available as of today.
- Hitman 2 is part of the games available for this month. Globetrotting as the mysterious but deadly Agent 47, you’re thrown onto a sandbox map and free to assassinate your target(s) however you choose. As the sequel to Hitman (2016), Hitman 2 follows the same gameplay formula with new maps and new story scenarios. We reviewed Hitman 3 earlier this year and enjoyed it. If you happened to pick up Hitman 3 without trying Hitman 2, and you enjoyed it, you’ll find more of the same to love.
- Predator: Hunting Grounds is up next. This four-player multiplayer pits you on a Fireteam, where you have to take on tough challenges while also getting hunted by Predators. Alternatively, you could be the Predator yourself, hunting down other players instead. Choose from a bunch of different classes, alien weaponry, and playstyles to successfully stalk or avoid your opponents on the battlefield.
- Last but not least is Overcooked: All You Can Eat! on the PlayStation 5 only. This contains Overcooked! and Overcooked! 2 along with all additional content in one package. This chaotic co-op multiplayer features local or online cooking puzzles and platforming, all in one crazy blend of fun and hilarity. You get access to the campaign, survival, practice, and assist modes as well as the online portion of the games.
Lastly, in order to enjoy Predator: Hunting Grounds and Overcooked: All You Can Eat!, you’ll need a stable internet connection to play online. All titles will be available until Monday, October 4, so be sure to download them from the PlayStation Store before they disappear.
