After Nintendo announced the release date for Shin Megami Tensei V during this year’s E3, Atlus has opened pre-orders for the next title in the long-running series. Heading to Atlus’ official website will bring you to a list of options for pre-ordering the game. You can select the digital version of the game, which will bring you to the Nintendo e-Shop page, where you can then add Shin Megami Tensei V to your wishlist. For the physical options, you can purchase the steelbook edition and the premium collector’s edition.
The steelbook comes with the base game only in a special decorative case, while the premium edition offers a lot more. The Fall of Man Premium Edition is available in limited quantities, coming bundled with the base game, the steel case, a CD soundtrack, demon handbook, a sling bag, and a special collector’s box.
For the time being, pre-orders are only available on the listed Atlus website. Pre-orders from other retailers are due to follow “shortly,” according to the Official ATLUS West Twitter account. It also looks like these pre-order options are limited to North America. Hopeful buyers in Europe, for example, will need to stay on the lookout for more information from Nintendo’s Europe branch.
Shin Megami Tensei V is slated for release on November 12, 2012 for the Nintendo Switch.
