Team Xbox announced today when we can expect to see them at this year’s gamescom. Instead of gathering for an in-person event in Cologne, Germany, Xbox will stick to an online-only broadcast. Microsoft will stream their 100% virtual experience just before opening night on August 25, taking the August 24 spot at 10:00am PT/6:00pm BST/7:00pm CEST. Hosted by Kate Yeager and Parris Lilly, the exclusive Xbox stream will show off the platform’s upcoming titles, including their lineup of exclusive games.
Team Xbox warns to not expect any new announcements at this year’s gamescom. Viewers can instead look forward to more in-depth updates for already-announced titles, both from first-party Xbox Game Studios and third-party developers. This means we might hear about titles like Forza Horizon 5 and Halo Infinite. Team Xbox will also give updates on releases for Xbox Live, Xbox Game Pass, and more. There’s also an Xbox FanFest to tune into, as a replacement for in-person events. Xbox FanFest will be hosting giveaways, giving out digital content and merchandise, and plenty more. If you’re interested, sign up for Xbox FanFest and stay tuned for more information.
